Healthy Sitting Position
Sitting the wrong position can cause postural problems that will affect your overall health so you should find a healthy way to sit so as not to cause disease.
“Sitting for long periods of time and be done year after year to make the circulation decreases, metabolism slows down, blood sugar imbalances and cause pressure on postural muscle balance,” said Dr Helen Lee, DC, a practitioner and founder of Touch of Life Chiropractic in Hoffman Estates , Illinois
Dr Lee said that would not be surprised if the person sits too much can cause weight gain and poor health status. For that one needs to know and improve posture.
Here are tips on a healthy sitting posture, namely:
A. Provide support (bearing) on ??the waist
Chairs used must be able to help or do not make people sick when trying to sit down with the sound. Dr Lee advised to sit in a chair by providing support or ancillary to the waist. For example, by putting a small pillow at the waist, buttocks and sit half-leaning.
2. Develop a healthy sitting posture
The best seats will not improve your posture if one tends to bend, bend at the keyboard or cross their legs when sitting.
For that try to do the following things while sitting, namely:
- Put both feet flat on the floor with the knees slightly higher than your hips.
- Place the elbow in a comfortable position on the side or rest your arm on the back that allows the shoulders to be relaxed.
- Keep the shoulders aligned or not moving forward.
- The head looking straight ahead, chin tilted slightly down.
- Focus on the stomach or abdominal breathing throughout the day to increase the oxygen and the body remains relaxed.
3. Keeping your body hydrated
Dehydration can make a person tired and tend to sit with a slumped over position. To that should keep the body well hydrated throughout the day.
4. Get up and move
Move on a regular basis or get up every 15-30 minutes to stretch, move and breathe. If possible try walking for a while. This condition will increase the circulation of energy and avoid snacking too many people at the table.
5. Check the condition of the bed
A person could spend 5-8 hours a day in bed, so the bed also has a significant impact on posture. To make sure that the bed has good support for the body and change the location of the body every few months to prevent the curve of the body on a mattress that can make the body sick.
Tips avoid neck and back pain while at the front of Computer
Sitting position and length of time can often cause neck pain and back pain. However, many people because of the demands of work have a long sit behind a computer.
Sore neck and back pain is often underestimated. The wrong position when sitting can not only cause pain, but also changes in posture.
Back pain, also known as dorsalgia is pain felt in the back that usually originates from the muscles, nerves, bones, joints or other structures in the spine.
Back pain may have a sudden onset or can become chronic pain, can be constant or intermittent, stay in one place or spread to other areas.
The possibilities may include pain or sensation of sharp, stabbing or burning. The pain may radiate to the arms and hands and feet. May also include other symptoms besides pain, such as weakness, numbness or tingling.
Neck pain or cervicalgia is a common problem, with two thirds of the population having neck pain at some point in their lives. Neck pain, although felt in the neck, can be caused by numerous other spinal problems.
Neck pain may arise due to muscular tightness in both the neck and upper back, or of the nerves coming from the cervical vertebra. Joint disorders in the neck creates pain, as well as disturbances in the upper back.
If this support system is negatively affected, then the muscles will tense in the area, causing neck pain. Neck pain may also arise from many other health problems, namely the physical and emotional.
Here’s how to setup the correct sitting position according to Dr. David Rempel, professor of medicine at UC San Francisco as quoted from Epharmapedia, Tuesday (02/07/2012), among others:
A. Make sure it has a comfortable back seat and with the support arm
Adjust the seat height so feet are flat on the floor, and the eyes can be aligned with the top of the monitor. For users of screen goggles should be slightly lower.
2. Position the monitor screen some distance away
Position the screen some distance away, the long sleeves to avoid glare from windows and lamps. The keyboard should be at elbow height and easy to push buttons. Use a table or chair arm to prop up the arm.
3. Keep the mouse close to keyboard
This is to avoid excessive movement, which can cause arm pain, for some, the mouse pad can help.
4. Check your posture
Relax the muscles in your arms, shoulders, and neck by sitting upright or leaning back in his chair. Stand up and stretch every 20 minutes.
By following the above methods, it can spend hours in front of computer comfortably and without pain.
How to avoid Menstrual Syndrome
As before menstruation, almost all women in the world have experienced PMS or pre-menstruation syndrome. Symptoms include headache, joint pain, acne, and even cause mental changes such as becoming irritable, anxious, depressed and lost control.
But there are way more fun to solve, namely eating cheeseburgers and chocolate. Cheeseburger or a cup of hot chocolate is rich in vitamin B, namely vitamin B1 (thiamine) and B2 (riboflavin).
In a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, vitamin B can overcome the symptoms of PMS women.
“Vitamin B affects the brain chemicals that trigger PMS. Consuming the right amount of vitamins will reduce the risk of premenstrual syndrome,” said the researcher, Patricia O. Chocano-Bedoya, Ph.D., of the University of Massachusetts.
In the long run peneltiian of 3,000 nurses, women who consumed vitamin B from foods have a risk of PMS symptoms 35% lower than it consumes little vitamin B.
“Women who consumed 1.9 mg and 2.5 mg riboflavin, thiamine least likely experience symptoms due to physical and emotional PMS,” said Chocano-Bedoya as reported lifescript.com, Wednesday (08/02/2012).
The recommended daily amount of thiamine is 1.1 mg and 1.2 mg of riboflavin. Thiamine is found in grains, legumes, nuts and red meat. While riboflavin contained in many foods such as milk, eggs, green vegetables and red meat.
Believed that the thiamine and riboflavin is necessary for the synthesis of brain chemicals (neurotransmitters) such as serotonin and dopamine that affect the appearance of PMS.
Chocano-Bedoya also advised not to drink the vitamin through supplements because no significant effect. It is possible that your body better metabolize vitamin obtained from food.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, people who eat 2,000 calories per day should only consume 1.8 ounces of red meat and 3 cups of milk or milk products.
Signs of Male Body stimulated
Stimulation provided at specific points on the body can make a woman aroused. So what are the signs that appear when a woman’s body is being stimulated?
Some women sometimes have a point of different stimuli, but most women easily stimulate when administered to sexual stimulation and only a few difficult people aroused. There are two changes that occur in women when you’re aroused, that changes in genital organs as well as in his body.
Changes that occur in the genital organs:
1. Approximately two-thirds of the vagina elongated and broke
2. Lubrication of the vagina is automatically increased
3. The color of the vagina can turn into a rather dark like purple
4. Cervix and body of the womb (uterus) will be pulled back and pushed to the top to the pelvic cavity (pelvic)
5. In the vaginal lips (labia minora) and outer vaginal lips (labia majora) will rise up and open
6. Clitoris will swell and stiffen
Changes that occur in the body:
1. Pupils will be dilated
2. The sweat that comes out will increase
3. Nipple erection or tension
4. Respiratory rate increased
5. Heart rate becomes faster
6. Breasts will enlarge
Generally, the first response that comes when women receive sexual stimulation is the presence of warm perasangan spread throughout the body, which will be followed by changes in the body.
If the stimulation continues, it will be easier for women to achieve orgasm during intercourse. When a person reaches orgasm then some of the hormones in the body will actively participate as prolactin, serotonin, oxytocin, endorphins, adrenaline and phenylethylamine.
But it was not yet ended, most women will get another benefit of feeling more relaxed and happier and also more receptive to stimulation.
